Pedro: "Talked with the desktop team and they say this is not something they're looking to fix since gnome-pilot is quite old and unmaintained upstream, that's why the support was removed from Debian and thus Ubuntu. "
I checked at http://live.gnome.org/GnomePilot, gnome-pilot looks quite active, currently preparing for Gnome and thus Evolution 3. Under "Work currently being done" it says "Incorporation of the evolution conduits into the gnome-pilot codebase. ". Thus 2.30 will be the ONLY version of Evolution, that does not have pilot support, because 3.0 will. This is a very ugly regression. And since it looks like we are just talking about a compiling-option, it's easy to fix. -- Evolution doesn't provide GNOME Pilot (Palm) conduits anymore in Maverick https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/604497 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is subscribed to evolution in ubuntu. -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs
