Unfortunately my machine at work died and I needed to take that older
Inspiron from home (the one that had the problem) to the office and
install XP (heaven help me!), so I can't do the test--- sorry! I would
have loved to know that I contributed at least *something* to developing
this great system.

Am happy to report that the Netbook remix works great on my new home
machine (Acer AspireOne)- everything out of the box (save for the SD
slot, as expected- proprietary f'ers!).

Again, my apologies, but that you so much for your dedication and work!
