Pedro, I did not test on Maverick as requested but the issue has been corrected elsewhere. I just transferred a 4.1gb file from the same OSX box that does have the complete line "vfs objects = notify_kqueue,darwinacl,darwin_streams" in the smb.conf file of OSX. The issue *may* have been corrected by the OSX 10.6.4 update or otherwise within 10.04.1 LTS.
