Good morning. That update didn't worked for me....
I made the following: - Installation using a usb stick. That is, I made a installation from scratch. - My machine have a Intel gma500, so a needed install the drivers for it using the commands: sudo add-apt-repository ppa:gma500/ppa && sudo apt-get update sudo apt-get install poulsbo-driver-2d poulsbo-driver-3d poulsbo-config - Reboot - Not working at this point. I tested this form: At terminal: gstreamer-properties in "Video", section Plug-in I selected "X Window Sustem (X11/XShm/Xv)" Device: "Default" After this I tried to open a .avi file. In gstreamer-properties I got a screen with background image, in Totem I got just a black screen. - I have updated using update manager, reboot - Tested again.... and not working yet! Is this information enough?
