Public bug reported:
Binary package hint: nautilus
Hello,
I upgraded to Maverick, to see a big red band on top of some of my
folders saying that they are not synchronized with Ubuntu One. They look
alarming, and take up a lot of rare vertical space. I tried clicking on
them, but they give no hint on how to make them go away (except for
synchronizing with Ubuntu one, I guess...) I looked through the "view"
menu, and found no mention of this ribbon. I had to search forums in
order to find that File->Ubuntu One->Hide Ribbon does it.
Really, add a button on the ribbon to hide it. It doesn't smell well
when a commercial product grabs so much attention and doesn't let me
remove it.
Also, there's no point in suggesting to synchronize the downloads
folder, even if I were using Ubuntu One.
Thanks,
Noam
