Ok I just located the trouble-causing lines: the pdf has a lot of objects like:
29 0 obj << /Lenght 61 >> stream BT /Helv 8 Tf 28 699 Td 0.000 0.000 0.000 rg (01.09.10) Tj ET endstream endobj Obviously /Lenght has to be /Length. Now evince still outputs the xref error but that's for later sometime :-). Error: PDF file is damaged - attempting to reconstruct xref table... I attached the corrected pdf file histo_ok.pdf. ** Attachment added: "evince opens this file just fine (except xref error, not due to evince bug)" https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/poppler/+bug/665226/+attachment/1708004/+files/histo_ok.pdf -- evince shows blank page where acroread does not https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/665226 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is subscribed to poppler in ubuntu. -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs
