Public bug reported: Binary package hint: gnome-media
When ubuntu is started I can notice that subwoofer does not play in full strength, if I use "Test speakers" all speakers work. The switch to any other profilere is a big change in subwoofer volume for any media player when I switch between profiles: - on start: subwoofer tests ok, but if I play music it is more silent (selected profile: Analog Surround 5.1 Output) - switch to any other profile: the settings change as they should - switch back to previous profile (Analog Surround 5.1 Output) subwoofer gets a lot louder 1) Ubuntu 10.10 2 gnome-media: Installed: 2.31.6-0ubuntu2 Candidate: 2.31.6-0ubuntu2 Version table: *** 2.31.6-0ubuntu2 0 500 http://si.archive.ubuntu.com/ubuntu/ maverick/main i386 Packages 100 /var/lib/dpkg/status 3) Load profile and volumes correctly at start 4) Loads correct profile and volumes only if you switch between profiles manualy ProblemType: Bug DistroRelease: Ubuntu 10.10 Package: gnome-media 2.31.6-0ubuntu2 ProcVersionSignature: Ubuntu 2.6.35-22.35-generic-pae 2.6.35.4 Uname: Linux 2.6.35-22-generic-pae i686 NonfreeKernelModules: nvidia Architecture: i386 Date: Wed Nov 3 10:01:51 2010 ExecutablePath: /usr/bin/gnome-volume-control InstallationMedia: Ubuntu 10.10 "Maverick Meerkat" - Release i386 (20101007) ProcEnviron: SHELL=/bin/bash LANG=en_US.utf8 SourcePackage: gnome-media ** Affects: gnome-media (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New ** Tags: apport-bug i386 maverick -- selected profile is not loaded at sturtup https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/670283 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is subscribed to gnome-media in ubuntu. -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs
