Formatting a volume in Disk Utility allows you to set a label. However,
these user-supplied labels are not escaped and can cause problems with
the mkfs.ext4 command. Labels with double-quotes or backslashes cause
problems, such as:
\/\/\/\/\
"."."."
They present the error such as:
Error creating filesystem
An error occurred while performing an operation on "GLaDOS" (Partition 1 of
TOSHIBA TransMemory): Filesystem tools not installed
Details: Error creating file system: Cannot run mkfs: cannot spawn 'mkfs.ext4
-F -L "\/\/\/\/\" -F -F /dev/sde1': Text ended before matching quote was
found for ". (The text was 'mkfs.ext4 -F -L "\/\/\/\/\" -F -F /dev/sde1')
