Binary package hint: evolution
Issue with Evolution calendar unexpectedly crashing immediately after
loading. The problem appears to be very similar to bug #368508, but
that remedy did not work for me.

Evolution 2.30.3-1ubuntu7 (although I experienced the same issue with 2.28)
Evol 2.22 on Deb/Lenny in VirtualBox does not experience this issue.
