Public bug reported: Binary package hint: evolution
I use default utf-8 encoding for my messages. However, whenever i get html only message, or html attachment encoded with is-8859-2, I get all strings with polish diacritic signs replaced by [?] string. it's especially annoying, since the encoding declaration is usually present within html document, ProblemType: Bug DistroRelease: Ubuntu 10.10 Package: evolution 2.30.3-1ubuntu7 ProcVersionSignature: Ubuntu 2.6.35-22.35-generic 2.6.35.4 Uname: Linux 2.6.35-22-generic x86_64 NonfreeKernelModules: nvidia Architecture: amd64 CheckboxSubmission: 771f2b37652726d8a7656135722e0ad1 CheckboxSystem: 669b662da410063cc918e0f60cf6cddf Date: Mon Nov 15 17:57:17 2010 ExecutablePath: /usr/bin/evolution InstallationMedia: Ubuntu 10.04 LTS "Lucid Lynx" - Release amd64 (20100429) ProcEnviron: SHELL=/bin/bash PATH=(custom, user) LANG=pl_PL.utf8 SourcePackage: evolution ** Affects: evolution (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New ** Tags: amd64 apport-bug maverick -- Problems with characters encoding with html messages and attachements https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/675639 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is subscribed to evolution in ubuntu. -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs
