There is actually no need to open a bug report, and I'm guessing it will be closed anyway. The correct procedure AFAIK is to report it directly in #launchpad on irc.freenode.net, so please do so. Also, this bug report was closed and marked Invalid, so please do not send any further messages to this bug report to save spamming all subscribers unless it is *absolutely* necessary, i.e. this bug has reappeared in a supported Ubuntu version. Any further discussion about the spamming should be done on IRC, or on the bug reported by tommy-trussell. Thank you guys.
