sorry, dont have any MSN Contacts online at the moment, I will take a
screenshot and put it here soon.

This bug is not a dublicate of any of the bugs mentioned. The latest
MSN-Messenger can replace parts of the text the users entered with
images. Those images will then be transferred to the other client. Often
you see this with words like "Hello", or "lol". The images mostely
contain the text with some kind of animation or artwork around it. I
believe that originally the feature was ment to let users create own
smilies. However, those images are not displayed in the actual version
of Gaim in edgy. They were displayed in dapper.

So the bug is not in sending an image, but in recieving one!

This is a problem because some people I know have very many replaces
set, so you can't read their texts any more.
