OK, maybe that's not the (only) cause - seems that it might be that
freeSSHd doesn't try to run the specified command in a shell at all, but
just tries to execute it directly.

Either way, it seems a shame that Vinagre can't work without making
assumptions about what will or won't be on the other end of an ssh
session.
