@sebastien: - I am not using autologin. - the session is Ubuntu Desktop
after reboot, it's working fine, and the launcher comes when I log in again. In fact it's the 2nd time it's doing this to me: I upgrade to a bunch of packages (I usually do this once a day). at the next reboot after the upgrade the unity launcher does not come, and I need to start it manually. To start it, I run 'unity' in a VT. after this, if I reboot I can log on properly. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is subscribed to gdm in ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/683790 Title: natty alpha gdm / unity does not start -- desktop-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs
