Actually that's theme issue. I use Ambiance theme.
Reproduce steps:
1) Open ktorrent app
2) Hover mouse over some element of ktorrent window
3) See dark gray rectangle (no text visible - dark gray text on dark gray
background).
What should actually happen:
3) See dark gray rectangle with text on it (white text on dark gray background).
