I'm not sure which package this is a bug in, but here's the scenario:
I have a natty VM which does not have 3d. When I start the default
desktop I get the 3d warning with a suggestion to log into the Classic
desktop. However, when I do that I get no top or bottom panels. The
desktop is still functional in that Gnome Do still works and I can ssh
into the machine.
