Public bug reported:
Binary package hint: nautilus
Double clicking an executable shell script pops up a dialog asking what
to do. No matter what is clicked, the nautilus Window becomes
unresponsive and eventually asks to be force closed. If the "Run" or
"Run in Terminal" options are selected, the shell script itself launches
normally. It doesn't matter if the script is launching a console or GUI
program.
Ubuntu version: 10.04.1 LTS x64
Nautilus version: 1:2.30.1-0ubuntu1.1
To reproduce the bug, create an executable shell script somewhere,
navigate to it using nautilus and double click.
