Reinstalling the gnome-terminal solves the issue .. but is this the normal procedure taken against external software supplied by their developers rather than Ubuntu's ? In other words, mens only the substitution of the letters ?mens only the substitution of the letters ? Is re-installation always the solution in such cases ?
