Hello aliasbody, I hava same problem, Nautilus is very slow to open any folder in my disc (have an delay to open any folders). When lauch Nautilus with admin, folders open quickly. I disabled all the viewing options in Nautilus, but still not solved the problem. I do not know how to reproduce the problem to help developers, but, Im investigating the problem to see if I can find solutions.
Im using Ubuntu 10.10 with kernel 2.6.35-24-generic.
