I get this error too, so I logged the problem with: GST_DEBUG=*:5 rhythmbox 2>dbg.log
Per the instructions @ https://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=627678 After executing/closing multiple song properties, RB will stall - or at least the GUI will become unresponsive, occasionally resulting in this error. I noticed it is more likely to trigger if RB is playing audio and the status graphic is animating.
