i found this bug using sounconverter...
it is not possible to obtain mp3 file with vbr
also is not possible obtain bitrate > 128
so i tried this command:
# gst-launch filesrc location="test.flac" ! decodebin ! audioconvert !
lame vbr=4 vbr-quality=4 ! filesink location=test.mp3
the results are the same, no vbr, low bitrate.
i tried with flac and ogg file with the same results.
no errors are reported during the conversion.
i verified this problem also in debian sid.
my gstreamer0.10-plugins-ugly-multiverse is at version 0.10-4-2
