The attached PDF file, when printed using evince (or when previewed
using 'print preview') leads to a bizarre scrambled output with
characters not being positioned correctly. The second attachment is a
screenshot of the preview window (the output when printed to a real
printer is the same). Note the text at the bottom of the 1st page and on
the 2nd page.
I have tried to bring this down to a minimal example but I have this
problem with many other PDF files as well.
This is on Lucid with all latest updates applied.
