Public bug reported: Binary package hint: evince
The printer prins just: Error: /undefined in --run-- Operand stack: --dict:7/16(I) -- File Execution st The print job stops in the print queue. An error dialog pops up: "Print Error. There was a problem processing the document XXX.pdf (job 16) [Diagnose] [OK]" The PDF document displays fine in Evince, but if I select the text, the selection shows no characters - I guess this is a problem with the renderer. Print preview also shows the document correctly. Xpdf prints the document fine. Evince prints other documents fine. The problem also occurs if I print to a file, then open the file and print it. The document contains minimal graphics and the text in it is all Latin (English) characters. All fonts are embedded in the document: Under File > Properties > Fonts, all fonts are listed as "No name, Type 3, Embedded". The printing troubleshooter says: "printer's status message is: 'Data file sent successfully'" The troubleshooter log includes the following lines: GPL Ghostscript 8.71: Unrecoverable error, exit code 1', ... Possible error on renderer command line or PostScript error. Check options.Kid3 exit status: 3', ...
