Public bug reported:

On March 21 2011, when I filed bug 739290, I was able to change the
resolution with the methods described there. (Initially 800x600,
switched to 640x480.)

I went to change the resolution again, and now update-initramfs -u fails
with the following errors:

cp: cannot stat `/usr/lib/pango/1.6.0/module-files.d/libpango1.0-0.modules': No
such file or directory
cp: cannot stat `/usr/lib/pango/1.6.0/modules/pango-basic-fc.so': No such file
or directory
E: /usr/share/initramfs-tools/hooks/plymouth failed with return 1.
update-initramfs: failed for /boot/initrd.img-2.6.38-7-generic

I'm now stuck with 640x480 (while the boot process is still inside
initramfs).

I take it libpango1.0-0 is responsible for supplying these files. If
so, they need to be put back or the /usr/share/initramfs-
tools/hooks/plymouth script needs to updated.
