Hi quequotion, in current development release Natty, language-selector installs poppler-data for Arabic, Chinese, Japanese, and Korean locales. Please refer Bug #623825.
>From this comment, https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/language-selector/+bug/623825/comments/2 it seems not likely installing poppler-data through dependency in Ubuntu. In Ubuntu, this ticket is a duplicate of Bug #623825, but this has other tasks. Instead of marking duplicate, I will mark Fix Released against just Ubuntu tasks. --------------- language-selector (0.27) natty; urgency=low * data/pkg_depends: Update for libreoffice and changed thesaurus/hyphenation package names. Update test cases accordingly. * data/pkg_depends: Add poppler-data for Arabic, Chinese, Japanese, and Korean.
