I can not reproduce this on Maverick, with gcalctool 5.32.0. I have
assigned the Favorites shortcut key to Launch the calculator, and when
pressed, calculator is launched. I have tried launching in all modes,
and none of them have the behaviour you describe. Could you please try
it on your computer and see if it is still reproducible?
