Public bug reported:
Binary package hint: evolution
1) Ubuntu 10.10
2) 2.30.3-1ubuntu7.3
3) Open exchange account trough MAPI plugin/Remove old Exchange data
3) Could not authenticate anymore/Old data kept returning even though all was
removed
Until a while ago I used the MAPI plugin to sync my mail and, more importantly,
my calendar trough the MAPI plugin. Somehow this mallfunctioned. I tried
resetting the settings, but this did not work. So I decided to completely
remove evolution and reinstall...
Problems. Somehow old data left over from previously used MAPI plugin remains.
When opening evolution, Gmail settings stay saved, this not a great problem.
But also my outlook calendar, contacts, memos and tasks know there once was an
exchange mail account connected. In all of these parts a section with my old
mail address is given, but the calendar, contacts, memos and tasks of the
exchange account however are empty. There is no way to delete them. Using:
sudo apt-get remove evolution
sudo apt-get purge evolution
Do not do the trick. Messing around in the Synaptic Package Manager (completely
remove) also does not work. The on thing I want is to read my calendar and
stuff, but if that does not work, I do not like it to have some fragments
laying around from my exchage account. Can someone halp??
