to reproduce: - open three terminal windows on the desktop. - position two of the windows so that they partially overlap - adjust the alt-tab order of the windows so that the overlapping windows are the first two in the list. - alt-tab to the third window (cycling past the second one) - the remains of the border of the second window (the one under the first window) are left behind.
