Thank you for taking the time to report this issue. Open Software Center. Click Edit>Software Sources. Switch to the Other Software tab. Scroll down until you find the pinta source. Select the pinta source and click Edit. Change distribution from natty to maverick.
This is because the Pinta PPA developers have not released a version specifically for Ubuntu 11.04 (codenamed Natty) yet. If you like, you can check https://launchpad.net/~moonlight- team/+archive/pinta every so often to see if a Natty version will be released. You can check the "Overview of all packages published in" dropdown link. But it shouldn't actually matter very much in this case which version you use.
