Ubuntu 10.04 with some stuff from 10.10

when i try to connect via nautilus to a public ftp share the connection
gets reseted.. dmesg shows this line:
gvfsd-ftp[10890] general protection ip:104ef25 sp:b765230c error:4ed0 in
libwebkit-1.0.so.2.17.7[fe9000+d8a000]
any clues?
