Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: evolution

using Ubuntu 10.10 - the Maverick Meerkat - released in October 2010
Evolution 2.30.3

Expected to use tools menu to erit a filter rule.

Instead I found tools button was GONE!!!

extra info and secondary question...
I have a large number of accounbts and a HUGE back log of messages. It seems I
max out the program very early on and it just stops downloading messages and I
can't get it to start again even after I delete a lot of older messages... I am
totally new to Ubuntu and Evolution but have been fixing windows for years. I
don't want to have to learn to fix another OS and group of supporting programs.
Is Ubuntu not for me?
