Public bug reported: Binary package hint: brasero
If I try creating a CD by adding files in Brasero then buring directly to disk (using defaults all the way through) brasero creates coasters every time. If I add files, then build an ISO, then burn the ISO instead, Brasero seems to work fine. but so far, I've tried 5 times on three different machines and each time, Brasero made a nice plastic coaster instead of a usable CD or DVD. When I use an ISO image instead, Brasero successfully burns a useful disk ProblemType: Bug DistroRelease: Ubuntu 11.04 Package: brasero 2.32.1-0ubuntu2 ProcVersionSignature: Ubuntu 2.6.38-8.42-generic 2.6.38.2 Uname: Linux 2.6.38-8-generic i686 Architecture: i386 Date: Sat Apr 30 11:21:39 2011 InstallationMedia: Ubuntu 11.04 "Natty Narwhal" - Release i386 (20110427.1) ProcEnviron: LANGUAGE=en_US:en LANG=en_US.UTF-8 SHELL=/bin/bash SourcePackage: brasero UpgradeStatus: No upgrade log present (probably fresh install) ** Affects: brasero (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New ** Tags: apport-bug i386 natty running-unity -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is subscribed to brasero in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/774203 Title: Brasero makes coasters when using the Burn Directly To Disk option -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs
