Binary package hint: gdm

when i return from suspend, the screen looks like the screen shot
attached, black and yellow checkers and stripes. some times the colors
are distributed differently, but it does that every time you return from
a suspend. if I simply press lock screen it shows up as normal, no
obtrusion.

to get it to go away I can enter my password like normal, I just cannot
see anything
