Hi Jeremy, yes I know, but the clock did not synchronize correctly; that was the reason, why I installed system-config-date.
The clock was often wrong by 15 sec up to several hours. Strangely enough uninstalling system-config-date an hour ago, seemed to have done something good, because the clock was spot-on, until 10 minutes ago; now its skewed approx 6 minutes (:^((.
