Using the Edgy LiveCD, I have the following problem with my USB Memory Stick: 
After plugging it in, Nautilus opens and shows the contents. After 10-30s the 
"not savely removed"-Window pops up, and the Stick is mounted again ... for the 
next 30 seconds. Using the same Stick/Cable/Port with installed Dapper works 
fine.
My Digital Camera is recognized by Edgy as expected: No remounts.
