Hello, I'm just confirming that this bug still exists in the following gnome- panel version:
gnome-panel 1:2.32.1-0ubuntu6.5 The fix described in my original post https://bugs.launchpad.net/gnome-panel/+bug/43066/comments/39 still seems to be a valid fix for the problem. What do we need to do next in order to get this patch incorporated into the ubuntu package?
