@Jordan: There are a lot of us OTR junkies waiting in the wings to congratulate you when you get this done. I'd really like to use Empathy on my Gnome 3 system, but sometimes I really need OTR and it's not an option not to use it. When you have code that can be tested, I'd be very happy to give it a try and let you know if I find any bugs.
