Hi Pedro: Yes, I'm afraid it is; it seemed to have started with 10.4 or even 9.10. It is very difficult to make it save files in an acceptable manner. Is there a workaround, or do I switch to Thunderbird? -- ". . . old railfans never die; they just lose track! Gordon
