You have been subscribed to a public bug:
GTK has a feature to resize the window so it fits the content. This is
usually a good feature, but in case the content is bigger than the
screen the window jumps back and forth by just left clicking. The only
way to exit a such program is to press Alt+F4; the mouse can't be used.
(Left clicking the close button makes the window jump.)
The application QtOctave is one example. On a screen of 1024x600
(netbook), this application can't be used. See Screenshots. I only press
left mouse button between the images. If I press twice I get the same
position of the window again.
This happens also if you use Anjuta and have many tabs downwards.
