Hi, It's not obvious from your bug report how you are adding new tracks to the playlist. If I had to guess I'd say it was by dragging tracks from the file manager onto the Totem icon on the launcher (because thats the only way I can reproduce the behavior you describe). If this is the case please reply and change the bug status to 'New'. In the meantime I'll set it to Incomplete until I can be sure we're talking about the same bug.
