Public bug reported:

When starting gnome (edgy) the applications are started in the wrong order.
Especialy the notification area is much to late available, causing different
effects:
- kadu (KDE gadu-gadu IM client) doesn't start in the tray, but shows its icon
on the desktop
- gaim starts in window mode and not minimized as configured
- different notifies (network manager, power manager, updates) are shown at
various inconsistent places / corners

The session manager (system -> sessions) has no obvious function to
reorder the starting the applications. I assume they are saved and
started automatically.

** Affects: gnome-desktop (Ubuntu)
     Importance: Undecided
         Status: Unconfirmed
