apport information ** Description changed:
Ubuntu 11.04 64-bit. Quite often when I switch on my computer and boot Ubuntu, when it gets to the login screen, only my username appears. There are 3 user accounts on this computer and my account was the first one created during Ubuntu installation. I've seen it happen many times - only my username appears on the list, but when I reboot, the next time the login screen appears, it then shows all 3 users. On my old computer when I had Ubuntu 10.10 64-bit, I never had this problem and I would always see the 3 user accounts on the login screen list. + --- + Architecture: amd64 + DistroRelease: Ubuntu 11.04 + EcryptfsInUse: Yes + InstallationMedia: Ubuntu 11.04 "Natty Narwhal" - Release amd64 (20110427.1) + NonfreeKernelModules: nvidia + Package: gdm 2.32.1-0ubuntu3.2 + PackageArchitecture: amd64 + ProcEnviron: + LANGUAGE=en_GB:en + LANG=en_GB.UTF-8 + SHELL=/bin/bash + ProcVersionSignature: Ubuntu 2.6.38-8.42-generic 2.6.38.2 + Tags: natty + Uname: Linux 2.6.38-8-generic x86_64 + UpgradeStatus: No upgrade log present (probably fresh install) + UserGroups: adm admin cdrom dialout lpadmin plugdev sambashare ** Attachment added: "Dependencies.txt" https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/783130/+attachment/2204416/+files/Dependencies.txt -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is subscribed to gdm in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/783130 Title: Missing users on Ubuntu login screen To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/gdm/+bug/783130/+subscriptions -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs
