I have a similar problem with my Acer Aspire One AO722. When the battery is charging, it never goes from "calculating" to an actual calculation for when it will be done. If I run cat /proc/acpi/battery/BAT1/state I get:
present: yes capacity state: ok charging state: charging present rate: 0 mA remaining capacity: 2846 mAh present voltage: 11952 mV Note that it stays at 0mA charging all the time. Eventually it finishes charging then changes to charged. But the present rate never changes from 0mA. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is subscribed to gnome-power-manager in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/790940 Title: Does not calculate time remaining until charged To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/gnome-power/+bug/790940/+subscriptions -- desktop-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs
