Public bug reported:
Open system log viewer.
Go to file -> open, browse to /var/log and open Xorg.0.log.old.
System log viewer displays the message:
Can't open /var/log/Xorg.0.log.old
"The file is not a regular file or not a text file"
Expected.
Don't complain about text files when they actually are text files and can be
opened by e.g. gedit.
