Public bug reported:
This happened while extracting a password protected compressed file
using the "Extract Here" context menu entry of Nautilus.
To reproduce:
1. Create a new empty file (e.g., right click on your desktop → "Create New
Document" → "Empty Document").
2. Right click on the file and choose "Compress...".
3. Now choose ".zip" and set a password under "Other Options" → "Create".
4. Right click the compressed file → "Extract Here".
5. Enter the password and click "Ok".
→ window decorations should be gone (run "(DISPLAY=:0.0 metacity &)" at
a virtual terminal to recover).
With the password prompt a second window pops up and vanishes, maybe
that's the problem. This does not happen when extracting the file from
file-roller.
Using up-to-date Oneiric, running Unity 2D.
