When I + just have a Main Menu (Just the ubuntu logo, not "Applications, Places, + System", it doesn't crash unless I click it. This started to happen to me a while ago, but I couldn't be bothered at the time, so I installed Dapper instead (keeping my home directory). In Dapper is still worked flawlessly. However, once I went back to Edgy it started crashing again. I've tried deleting my gconf registry and removing all of the menu files I could find in my home directory, but the problem still persists. -- Menu bar causes gnome-panel to crash in Edgy https://launchpad.net/bugs/73202 -- desktop-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs
