** Description changed:

  Binary package hint: gnome-panel

As soon as my menu bar is loaded, gnome-panel crashes and brings up
- bugbuddy. It then continues to crash in an endless loop every time i
- close bugbuddy. When I just have a Main Menu (Just the ubuntu logo, not
- "Applications, Places, System", it doesn't crash unless I click it.

This started to happen to me a while ago, but I couldn't be bothered at
the time, so I installed Dapper instead (keeping my home directory). In
Dapper is still worked flawlessly. However, once I went back to Edgy it
started crashing again. I've tried deleting my gconf registry and
removing all of the menu files I could find in my home directory, but
  the problem still persists.
