Thank you, Pedro. I tried the daily CD image of Oneiric, downloaded on 2011-08-28, from CD. Unfortunately, it could get graphics started, so I couldn't run Brasero. Then I tried the Xubuntu distro of Natty Narwhal that I already have installed.
I wrote 818.6 MiB on a DVD using Brasero but when I tried to add something more to it, Brasero didn't give any choice of adding more data to it -- either I did something differently or the feature has been removed from that latter version of Brasero...?
