Public bug reported:

As I don't think this is a feature, I'm filing a bug report.

When pressing the super key (Windows key, Mod4) when the screen is
locked (ie via Ctrl + Alt + L), then the Dash home is shown with the
cursor in the search field. This is reproducible. I'd expect to find my
session, exactly as I left it ignoring all the commands while the screen
is locked.

Another strange thing happened, which I unfortunately wasn't able to
reproduce: I was pressing a lot of buttons (cleaning my keyboard) while
the screen was locked and suddenly the the desktop showed up. Everything
was blurred also the window for entering the password to unlock the
screen. But hitting Esc I got the usual lock screen.
