@pitti, ubuntu-desktop-team: please don't change the importance! If we don't use the Gnome-Panel or the Unity panel, the desktop is ugly with this (dark) menu bar on the top of the screen :-/ I no longer have this bug because I use a modified version of gtk+3.0 by using the new version of this patch given in this bug report by cimi: 043_ubuntu_menu_proxy.patch
