Thanks for your bug report. Which version of Ubuntu and nautilus do you
use? Can you try to get a backtrace of nautilus the next time it hangs?

gdb -p $(pidof nautilus)
...
thread apply all bt full

should be enough - and copy that in a comment on the bug.

Also, if you manage to find something interesting in .xsession-errors,
that might help also.
